Update from the Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Texas set up a booth for the fourth consecutive State GOP Convention (starting 2002 in Dallas), with the banner of “Ron Paul Republicans” hanging high.
An estimated two thousand people visited the RLC-TX booth! Special thanks to Charlyne Pich who was our top volunteer running the booth; along with some other volunteers, she distributed information and sold T-shirts saying “The Media told me to vote McCain, so I voted for Ron Paul”, “Platform Republicans”, and “Don’t Steal, government hates the competition”.
Special thanks to Penny Langford-Freeman, who designed and purchased and brought the T-shirts to the booth and sold them there; about 400 T-shirts were distributed (most of them sold for $10, the proceeds being applied to Convention costs).
Over 60 new dues paying members joined the RLCTX. The Friday the 13th Caucus Convention resulted in new bylaws being passed, expanding the State Committee, making it easier for local RLCTX chapters to form, and providing more autonomy for local groups connected with the state RLC.
The new five member RLC Texas officers are:
Judge Melissa Goodwin, Chair
Nathan Thompson, Vice-Chair
Don Zimmerman, Executive Director
Brian Crumby, Secretary
Lisa Mallory, Treasurer
Local groups are currently organizing to assist local candidates.
