Founded in 1991, the Republican Liberty Caucus works to advance the principles of limited government, free markets and individual liberty within the Republican Party.

In South Dakota, only one step remains for the “Cease and Desist” resolution (HCR 1013) to pass: the Governor must sign the resolution. That’s because the South Dakota Senate passed the resolution, 20-14. Only one Democrat (Ryan Maher) voted for the resolution. Republican Sens. Jim Bradford and Tom Dempster voted with the Democrats against the resolution.

In South Carolina, the House has passed its sovereignty bill, H. 3509, and it is currently in the Senate Judiciary Committee, where it is likely to be recommended favorably.

Sen. Shane Martin (R, District 13) will be attending a meeting of activists in Greenville to give an update to supporters of the measure.

Earlier in the month, the Oklahoma Senate passed that state’s resolution, SJR 10, by a vote of 25-17.

State Sovereignty? Are you crazy? President Obama, the new Lincoln, will come down heavy on this. There could be a new civil war with hundreds of thousands dead.

Well, would you rather have the states lay down and die in the face of this.. Never ending expensive corrupted federal government? Or do something about it.

YESSSS! State Sovereignty! I am so happy! This gives me hope and I sure hope Missouri will soon follow. I am sick and tired of Washington’s abuse and it isn’t getting any better.

SUPPORT AMERICA AND SUPPORT STATE SOVEREIGNTY TO REIGN IN OUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT, POLITICIANS, PRESIDENT, ELITE BANKERS-WALLSTREET-ROGUE WORLD LEADERS.

IF WE GET ENOUGH STATES TO PASS THEIR OWN STATE SOVEREIGNTY – WE CAN THROW OUT THE CURRENT CORRUPT GOVERNMENT AND POLITICANS AND REINSTATE THE U.S. CONSTITUTION PEOPLE!

The 10th Amendment of the US constitution draws the line, where the US Government can be dissolved based on the expansive requirements of the fed to make states comply with laws that were never given to the fed to mandate by the states. Simple language, but if a state or multiple states are to decide that the federal government is no longer serving the needs of the union as a whole, then with 1/3 of the states in solution the federal government can be eliminated and replaced by one or more sovereign governments representing the states in party to the elimination of the US federal government. There is only state that can secede from the US without this option and that is Texas, the others must be in concert with at least 1/3 voting to eliminate the US constitution for there to be a real split in the US government. There are already 20 states as of March 30th with sovereignty bills underway, that’s nearly half and with the current demands of the fed on businesses I am willing for my state to vote no confidence in the US government. I would then like to see the dissolusioned states create a new and real “Republic” which is what America is supposed to be (not a democracy, look it up, there is no mention of democracy in the constitution, we are a republic. “…and to the Republic for which it stands…”) I personally would be happy to see the “left coast” and the nuts in the North East try to support their own ambitions without the rest of the working nation to fall back on for taxes etc…
