Founded in 1991, the Republican Liberty Caucus works to advance the principles of limited government, free markets and individual liberty within the Republican Party.

We haven’t done an updated map of how chapter development for the RLC is going since back in February of last year, so it’s high time we had a new map that gives a strong visual representation of how things are progressing. We’ve made a lot of progress in the last year, but we need to work on chartering unchartered states and developing contacts in the three states where we have no organization at all.

Let’s turn the whole map blue!

You can find information about your local chapter on our Chapters page.

I don’t know how South Dakota could be considered organized. I think it should be a “No Contact” state. Ditto on Hawaii. It is not clear what “Pre-Charter” means, nor is it clear what “Organized” means.

What happened to the Upper Peninsula in Michigan?

The U.P. in Michigan just won its independence. It’s in all the papers. Can’t believe you missed that?

As for North Dakota, there’s tons of libertarian Republicans up there who would make fine contacts. Contact me for their info.

Alaska? Simple – Marc Fish. He’s already said he’d do it.

Montana needs to get its act together.

    Don’t forget Puerto Rico.

Good to see South Carolina’s on the mend.

Colorado should be much more ahead than it is.

How can we get in touch with the organizers in our home state? This page should provide links all the state organizations.

  • EFBandy

Good point, Mark. I’ll add a link to the page.

As for how states are characterized, that’s somewhat subjective and the status of a state here or there is liable to change. I classified them as best I could. I’m going to consult with our Chapter Development Director to see if we can fine tune it.

Eric, did Stephen Dresch or Dawson Bell have anything to do with this?
