Meet the Idaho RLC Co-Coordinator, Gregory Maeser:
Greg Maeser is an attorney and real estate investor who serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Ammon as well as the Ammon Urban Renewal Agency.
He was a City Councilman and Council President for eight years and in the past has served on various governmental and municipal boards and agencies.
He once ran for the legislature as a Democrat, but during the campaign realized that he honestly had nothing in common with the party on most of the major issues. It was during that unsuccessful campaign that he also realized that he was more conservative on fiscal issues than most of the Republicans in the legislature. Shortly thereafter he left the Democrats and found his home as a supporter of libertarian causes.
Although a libertarian at heart, he sees the Republican Party as the best hope for meaningful political change. Mr. Maeser resides in Ammon.
