Meet the RLC Contact in Ohio, John Mitchel:
John Mitchel, USAF Ret., has 27 years of military experience, including a B.S. from the U.S. Air Force Academy and experience in Army ROTC and attending the Air Force Institute of Technology. He also holds an MBA from Michigan Tech. University and an M.S. in Economics from Wright State University.
Mr. Mitchel is a retired Air Force instructor pilot and acquisition officer as well as a fraud, waste, and abuse investigator with the Department of Defense. He has spent over 27 years of his professional career supporting America’s troops. In doing so, he received two Air Force Commendation medals, four Air Force Meritorious Service medals, and DoD Certification in program management, contracting, manufacturing / quality assurance, and testing and evaluation. He is currently employed as a systems analyst at Wright Patterson AFB.
In addition to his involvement with the Republican Liberty Caucus, he is an active member and Past President of the Beavercreek Lions Club and also a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and AMVETS. Since 2004 he has served on the Greene County Republican Central Committee, Precinct 19.
Col. Mitchel (Ret.) resides in Beavercreek, Ohio with his wife of 37 years. Together they have three children.
