Meet the RLC Tennessee State Contact, Dr. Joe Dumas:
Dr. Joe Dumas works in the College of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee Chatanooga. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Central Florida, an M.S. from Mississippi State University, and a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Dumas is a former member of the UTC faculty Senate.
He also volunteers his time with the Mountain Arts Community Center and the Bachman Community Center. He also volunteered for Hurricane Katrina relief. He is a rated chess player and the Senior Tournament Director of the U.S. Chess Federation. He is married to Chereé and has two stepsons.
Dr. Dumas and and his wife reside in Signal Mountain, Tennessee.
