OFFICER and BOARD BIOS.

Dave Nalle
Chair

Dave Nalle grew up overseas and in Washington, DC with parents who were in the foreign service. He was educated at British and American schools, eventually completing high school at St. Albans School. As a child and teen he lived in Syria, Iran, Jordan, England and the Soviet Union and traveled extensively throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.

He attended Franklin and Marshall College, where he earned degrees in English and History, headed the student chapter of Students for a Libertarian Society and worked as a regional organizer for the Ed Clark presidential campaign in 1980. During and shortly after college Mr. Nalle had a variety of political jobs in Washington, DC.

After moving to Texas in 1982, Mr. Nalle earned two graduate degrees at the University of Texas and taught college history in Austin for more than a decade. He also ran a small game publishing company called Ragnarok Press. His graphic design experience and graduate research on historical calligraphy led to an interest in digital type design. In 1989, he founded Scriptorium Fonts to market his original font designs and digital recreations of antique type and hand lettering, initially for the Commodore 64 and eventually primarily for Macintosh and Windows users.

Mr. Nalle serves as President of his local Lions Club and ran for State Representative in 2002. He resides in Manor, Texas with his wife, Patricia, and their two daughters.

Aaron Biterman
Vice Chair

For nearly a decade, Aaron Biterman has been working to build a “Big Tent” coalition for limited government. One of his first campaigns was coordinating activities for Ed Thompson’s historic 2002 candidacy for Wisconsin Governor. Mr. Thompson earned nearly 200,000 votes (12%), the highest statewide vote total for a third-party candidate in more than fifty years.

Mr. Biterman became active in the Republican Party via the Republican Liberty Caucus in 2004. Between 2005 and 2007, he assisted with the media, outreach, and ballot access aspects of campaigns to defeat New York’s Proposal One and to pass Arizona’s Proposition 207 and Idaho’s Proposal 1. Between 2006 and 2008, he worked on three Republican Congressional campaigns in Virginia and Wisconsin.

He has been quoted in The New York Times, Houston Chronicle, and San Francisco Chronicle and his letters to the editor have been published in The Green Bay Press-Gazette, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Racine Journal-Times, and many other publications.

Since 2005, he has helped develop state chapters of the Republican Liberty Caucus. In that role, he has reviewed Republican candidates, districts, and voting trends since the 2006 cycle. He is a certified high school social studies teacher and a former U.S. Senate intern. Aaron currently works in donor relations for a legal defense foundation.

A native of Wisconsin, Mr. Biterman holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Secondary Education from American University. He has been recognized by the Advocates for Self-Government, International Society for Individual Liberty, Students for Liberty, and the Republican Liberty Caucus for his superior work to limit the size of government. He resides in northern Virginia.

Eric L. Wall
Secretary

Eric Wall has been involved in Republican politics for over twenty years, having joined the Bay County Young Republicans in the late 1980s. A military veteran, Mr. Wall is an elected Precinct Committeeman for the Bay County Republican Party. He serves on the Board of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Northwest Florida and resides in Panama City, Florida.

Bill Westmiller
Treasurer

Bill Westmiller ran in the Republican Primary in California’s 24th Congressional District in 1998, which is how he discovered the Republican Liberty Caucus. Mr. Westmiller has served as California Chair of the Republican Liberty Caucus as well as At-Large Board member and National Secretary of the Republican Liberty Caucus. Prior to his involvement with the RLC, he was co-founder of the Canadian Libertarian Party, past Secretary of the Libertarian National Committee, Inc. and past Chair of the California Libertarian Party.

Mr. Westmiller has ten years of experience as a Data Processing Manager, Radio/TV Broadcaster and retail store manager/owner. He has been a member of the 999 society and the Electrochemical Society, wrote an anti-gerrymandering initiative in California, and has been an official spokesman for several school choice initiatives.

He resides in Thousand Oaks, California with his wife Robin. Bill and Robin have three daughters.
