When I see stories like this, it makes me wonder how long this war on our liberty will go on before the people finally get angry enough to do something?!? Just the other day I read an article at http://www.two--four.net/Essays/toolate.html which suggested the reason why there is a militia movement in America is because we are moving away from liberty at such a pace as to mandate discussions of "what next?".

The author of that article pointed out, I believe correctly, that "...it seems clear to me that it can't compare to the urgency of the problem which is manifest in the very existence of a 'militia movement'. I will stand corrected if I am mistaken, but I think that the last time so many people seriously uttered the words 'civil war' in America (outside of history class), we actually fought one."

Legislation such as HR5175 strikes so directly at freedom of association and our privacy rights, I believe that a shooting war, a second war for independence since the 'civil war', will become imminent. Is this just the hubris of an out-of-control federal government, or is there an agenda to identify the hardcore freedom-lovers in "AmeriKa" for follow-up "enforcement actions"?? To me it seems like both!

My Congressman was the lone Republican who co-sponsored this travesty of a bill - Mike Castle. BTW - he flipped flopped and his way to cast one of two - Yes votes. Help us in Delaware rid ourselves of this man, he's running for the Senate. As a country we cannot afford to have him in the US Senate. Please, please support Christine O'Donnell for US Senate! www.christine2010.com

Funny thing is, something similar to this was tried by the state of Alabama against the NAACP in the 1950s. The US Supreme Court struck down the Alabama law which required that the NAACP turn over their membership lists, or cease conducting any business in their state: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Association_for_the_Advancement_of_Colored_People_v._Alabama

I hope these holier than thou liberals in Congress see the hypocrisy in voting for this.

I cannot fight it. There are pictures of Rand and Ron Paul and me on the Internet, so I am just waiting for them to take me away or kill me. My only protection is from God.

Seems unconstitutional to me. What happened to the free right to assembly. That right never said that all participants had to register to assemble, just that you had the right to.

There are many people who will want to remain anonymous and will not participate if they think that their name is going on a list that can theoretically be used against them.

It is 1 step away from next allowing the government to decide what groups can assemble and what they can say . . .

This must be fought tooth and nail. The Obama administration is full blooded Socialism Marxist-Leninist in camuflage/disguise.It seems that George Orwell's 1984 is no longer fiction it is now chillingly becoming by proxy a political, social and economic reality.Whilst the U.S.A. is developing this sinister Orwellienism through the Obama administration and by extension the Democratic Party over on this side of the Atlantic we are developing this Orwellienism through the European Union. The EU is a continuation of the defunct USSR.Maybe it shoukd be renamed the EUSSR.We need to fully support NATO and Isreal and distance ourselves from the EU and the toothless UN.

The bill is HR 5175 and they call the act “The Disclose Act.”

This attack on free speech and liberty-oriented groups in particular must be stopped.

I want you to oppose HR 5175, which will be used as a tracking tool to stop liberty-minded groups like the Republican Liberty Caucus.
