How many hammers do you need to clue you in that Willard ‘Mittens’ Romney (Property of Goldman Sachs) is not only as bad as Obama (Property of Goldman Sachs), but in fact will prove himself WORSE than Obama if people consent to his ascent to power, having bought himself time by suckering people that he’s ‘pro liberty’ in any way, shape or form.

“Romney will approve the Keystone Pipeline.”

That means he will approve a corporation stealing land from private owners. Yes, that is exactly what a conservative would do. A conservative believes in wealth-redistribution schemes, too. He redistributes wealth to the rich.

I am voting for Johnson, and this idiot just gives me more reason to do so.

So because Gary Johnson doesn’t have an (R) after his name I’m supposed to roll over and vote for Mitt? Sorry, but a vote for the lesser of two evils is still evil. A vote based on principle is never wasted.

And how is Romney supposed to be “pro-liberty” when he supports the Patriot Act, NDAA and the suspension of Due Process. We have yet to hear what he says about CISPA, but since the House Republicans voted it in along party lines, he probably approves that too. How is the government and military monitoring my web traffic and email pro-liberty?

Sorry, but Gary Johnson is THE FIRST presidential (heck any political candidate) who does not want to make my skin crawl, nor am I having to put aside 50% of my views aside to vote for him. I have always been a socially tolerant Republican. I have always advocated for fiscal restraint. And now a candidate comes along which embodies both? And you expect me to vote for Romney? HECK NO.

Besides, Romney has a long history of talking out of both sides of his mouth. He’s for restrictive gun laws, he’s against them. He’s for abortion, he’s against them. He’s for gay marriage, he’s against it. He’s for stem-cell research, he’s against it. He’s for the healthcare mandate, he’s not for it. Is he schizophrenic? Does he need to be medicated? At least with Johnson, I know where he stands on the position.

Romney is far better on liberty issues than Obama? Really? Let’s see…supports Patriot Act, has already said he will not support Medical Marijuana, let alone real “drug war” reform…Romney is NOT a liberty candidate! He is a big spending DemRepublicrat who is the nominee because he was able to out-spend Rick “Family Values Enforced By The State” Santorum. No thank you! Romney talks about a balanced budget but won’t touch Medicare reform & wants to increase defense spending. He is NOT for limited government. He is for HIM RUNNING government – that’s all.

There is *no* libertarian case to be made for Romney. He has flipflopped from Establishment Bloomberg Liberal all the way to being a sudden social conservative. At no time did he stop and admire the pretty libertarian flowers along the way.

He is against even decriminalizing medical marijuana. He strongly favors keeping our current tax code, and only tinkering around the edges. Do you think he’s ever given a moment’s thought to repealing the Patriot Act? Hell no.

This is a man who is unlibertarian in his heart. When a fellow student with long HAIR walked by him in high school, he led a team to tackle him and cut his hair. Is that not controlling enough for you?

I just threw up a little bit. Okay, maybe a lot. Romney wasn’t the worse candidate they could have nominated because they still had Santorum, but he was and is terrible.

I get that you are the “Republican Liberty Caucus”, but by supporting Romney you just forfeited the “Liberty” part of your name so you are now the “Republican Caucus” good luck with that. I’d much rather of had you guys be the “Liberty Caucus” or barring that don’t ever mention Mitt favorably at all and pass on the presidential elections until you have a liberty candidate again.

Until then I’m supporting, donating, and doing anything else I can to get Gary Johnson on the debate stage.

Even you can unstick yourselves from the herd mentality you can go donate $2500 to Johnson today for his “Get Me a Podium” money bomb that’s happening this weekend.

The premise of your article is a joke. To think that Mitt Romney will be any better than Obama is ludicrous to the Liberty Movement. We clearly understand that Republicrats are all the same. Any one that is with the lesser of 2 evils crowd is not serious about liberty. The fact is that Republicans and Democrats are one party. This is not a 2 party system, it is a 1 party system. They offer a “second party” to give you the illusion of choice. Both members of the single party system support fiat currency, endless deficit spending, interventionalistic foreign policy, and endless wars. Thats why you kick democrats out, bring in Republicans and nothing changes. GWB ran on small government as a fiscal conservative. When he got into office he drastically increased the size of government and spent us into oblivion. Go sell your lies somewhere else. Gary Johnson is my candidate! He’s not perfect, but he’s better than either one of those big government idiots running as Republicrats. I love Ron Paul but he is not a candidate.
