THE POLITICS GUY (TM)
CAMPAIGN TIPS
JULY 2009
So you’re running in November 2010 for state legislature, town council, or school board. Your campaign has started already whether or not you’ve circulated petitions or announced.

Nothing is private. They all become public record. Opposition research will make mincemeat out of you if it can be captured. Don’t give opponents raw material.
So, from this point forward craft comments carefully whenever you post in on-line chats. You want voters to take you seriously. Why scare them off with esoteric musings which they won’t understand?
Treat every word the same as you would in your official campaign brochure or website.
The Politics Guy Campaign Tips will be published periodically at RLC.org to help pro-liberty candidates get elected.
