It takes money to run a re-election campaign and unfortunately big business and big unions (one in the same if you ask me) will help fund those asspirations(intentional mispelling). When need elected officials who come back to their districts and listen to the people they represent. So long as most of our elected officials remain in D.C., we will never have a government that represent the core values of true conservatism or for that matter a government representing the people. For too many Republicans, a foreign adventure under Republican leadership is wise and good while the same tactic under Democratic leadership is terrible.
