Since 1985, I've been performing Calvin Coolidge: More Than Two Words. This has taken me all over the country, to the Library of Congress, the White House, to presidential libraries and out to Mount Rushmore. It was Coolidge who dedicated work-about-to-begin on the mountain on August 10, 1927. In his address, he coined the title "Shrine of Democracy." It was the last time a president traveled on horseback to deliver a speech. Next year, for your 2nd Annual Clam bake – feature “President Coolidge” as your speaker.
