Even though I'm not a Member, I do believe that they are an honorable, patriotic organization. Their FREEDOM INDEX, which rates Members of Congress by their fealty to the Constitution, is by far the best Congressional score card that I have ever seen. Besides in their The New American magazine, they don't shy away from heaping praise on the honorable Rep. Ron Paul. Please don’t knock the John Birch Society too much.
