		<description>I&#039;m Haugen&#039;s campaign manager, and two things strike me here. The first is that I appreciate your statement that Haugen has a right to support anyone he likes. We&#039;re certainly in agreement there!

This statement, however:

strikes me as incorrect. Regardless of the strengths and weaknesses of Mr. Chappell&#039;s candidacy, the fact that Haugen won with a striking 70% of the vote represents to me that his values are quite well in line with those of a majority of GOP voters. 

Also, please note that this is taking place in the *first* district, not the third.</description>
