As chairman of the Clear Lake Tea Party I strongly support Dr. Paul. He has supported the CLTP in its activities and we support him. Dr Paul is an honorable man and not afraid of the establishment nor does thoughts of political correctness sway his judgment. He has supported the people in his district and we support him. The courage we need in congress to do the right thing is evident in Dr. Paul,s everyday life and his strong record of physical responsibility and character are obvious for all to witness. Boehner et al chose Fred Upton to chair the House energy committee. There was at least one group that I’m aware of that led a revolt against Upton and was ignored. So my sense is that Boehner will find himself out of a job as Speaker in less than a year unless his learning curve improves. It’s also a telling example of how the GOP is not in charge of it’s own brand, and never will be again.

I would count on a mass uprising against him and all other RINOs who’ve stayed on since the 2008 election. Here’s hoping, anyway.

If anything Rep. Ron Paul should probably Chair the full committee and not just the subcommittee. Put someone in charge who has the guts to stand up and do what is right and not bow to the outside pressures of Washington insiders.

I fully support Ron Paul in all ways; it is imperative that we have true constitutional conservatives in government and that we purge our party of “Democrat-Lite” RINOs. Godspeed, Mr. Paul!
